Sometimes, your situation requires something more than what a generic Kevlar high temperature glove can provide. For this, we carry the Newtex line of Zetex and Zetex Plus gloves and mitts.
Note: Newtex Industries is the name of the manufacturer of the Zetex material. They use this material to make their gloves. They also sell the material in bulk form, as there are other industrial uses for it. There are other vendors selling 'Zetex' gloves that cost less. This is because someone has purchased the bulk Zetex material, and sewn their own gloves. Newtex Industries has no control of the quality of these less expensive gloves, nor of any of the other materials used in their construction. Don't be fooled, insist on the genuine Newtex brand Zetex gloves!
Made in the USA.

One of the first thing one notices when you see these gloves is the color. Unlike the Kevlar used in most gloves, the propriatary Zetex material is white.
These gloves are rated to about 1000°F., and are available in 14" and 23" lengths. The wing-style thumb provides more flexibility than the more common set-in thumb.
To prolong the life of your gloves, we recommend using a pair of our Zetex cover mitts.
| Part Number | Length | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 201-14 | 14" | $47.75 |
| 201-23 | 23" | $71.50 |

Building on their sucess with the Zetex material, Newtex has come out with their Zetex Plus material. Designed to offer even more thermal protection by dissipating the heat across the face of the material (instead of having the heat penatrate the fabric), these are rated to about 2000°F.
These gloves have the same wing-style thumb, and are available in 14" and 23" lengths.
To prolong the life of your gloves, we recommend using a pair of our Zetex cover mitts.
