In this documentary, you will get a look into East Germany, Czechoslovakia, and West Germany before the "Wall" came down, and just afterwards. You will see how glass tubing and rods for beadmaking are made, glass eyes being made at the torch, buttonmaking with bead rod and torch, cottage workshops making pressed glass beads one at a time using a variety of old techniques and tools, and a factory of 40 workers making wound beads.
