In Japan, these are called 'Lakes'. Whatever they are called, they are quite useful at the torch. We have two different ones: both are about 7" long blackened steel, are knurled in the middle for a sure grip, and have a 1/2" wide flat end, ground to a sharp edge. The other end is either pointed, or has a 1/4" wide flat end.
