In our whitepaper, "How to select the right High Temperature Glove", we explain how gloves (and mitts) wear out as much due to abrasion as they do to burning. These cover mitts extend the life of your gloves and mitts by absorbing the brunt of the abuse. Cover mitts are also reversible, so you can swap them left-for-right when they are worn, effectively doubling their life. In addition, you can put a higher temperature rating cover mitt over a lower temperature glove, and effectively raise the temperature rating of that glove.
These cover mitts can be used over all gloves and mitts, but work best over the reversible line of mitts.

As shown above, please note that different manufacturers make different size cover mitts, and that the cover mitts from one manufacturer may not fit the gloves from another manufacturer.

Available in either the Zetex (shown above, left) or Zetex Plus (shown above, right) material.
Note: Newtex Industries is the name of the manufacturer of the Zetex material. They use this material to make their gloves. They also sell the material in bulk form, as there are other industrial uses for it. There are other vendors selling 'Zetex' gloves that cost less. This is because someone has purchased the bulk Zetex material, and sewn their own gloves. Newtex Industries has no control of the quality of these less expensive gloves, nor of any of the other materials used in their construction. Don't be fooled, insist on the genuine Newtex brand Zetex gloves!
